Just a heads up......went for a drive......Satsop River, stopped at highway launch, 8 jb trailers....no other rigs.....2 boats at launch, drifter boat and jet boat.

Drift boat had put in at Decker CK., told me that West Fork launch had been blocked off and that just below Cook Creek there was a tree laying clear across river.

1. Parking lot at West Fork, empty.....nothing there but I could tell that someone had pull the boulders out of the way.

2. Drove to Decker Ck.....nothing there.

3. Drove around to Cook Ck., yep big tree across the river and another small alder, hung on the East side.

I didn't see a way to drag a drift boat around but those 2 guys some how got it past.

pictures show moved boulders and the tree across river.

Just trying to be helpful....

Thanks for the heads up, but if you weren't so busy selling out some choice drift boat haunts to defend the rights of your precious sled, you may have had time to read what the thread on the Satsop was originally about.

I read it all....from day 1.......Just like I've been reading the same kinds of posts for many years......

SOS.....just different year!!!!!! Some years it starts out as noise, some years its about all the banks washing into the river....causing major changes in the Satsop.

Problem is.....to many people, to many boats, to many rivers in other parts of the State with no fish, to many guides.

Oh well, peace is close.......rain will rise the rivers....by the time they drop into shape.......end of season is close.....everything will be on hold, until February/March 2015.

Have a good day.......

Drifter, thanks for the pic's, are those new rocks, or have they just been moved to block the ramp. The rivers will close, and it will be time to join 2k off my close friends to chase Springers. Been a good season, when Mother Nature allowed. Have a good one, Matt

Mat....I think someone brought them in.......I couldn't see where they might have move from, in the lot. If from the lot, must have been a "group effort" to move them.

Just strange to see West Fork launch with no rigs there and to then go to Decker Ck. and see no rigs parked there.....

After driving around to Cook Ck., I could see why........I don't know when those 2 trees got hung up.....maybe someone else does????

There was a nice little rumor going around yesterday that they were cut out. I got quite a few calls and texts saying so, or asking me if they were gone.
Sure enough they are still there haha
