I smile thinking about how I contributed to some of those rules being drafted, and even more on how some of them have been broken. Bob using a leafblower by sticking the intake into the river and super-douching Todd while I hid behind him was certainly....Imaginitive.

PS, Too late to attend this year but send out an invite next November and I'll try and make it. Also as Parker has mentioned that everybody is invited to the raffle / fundraiser........is this a first as that invite was never sent out either. Just sayin.........When this event comes out yearly things need to be put all out on the table and you will get more involved for the good cause. Thanks.

We expect to see you back in rare form next year Ryley...btw it's not too late to throw a team together. As a matter of fact we have a couple participants that need a ride so if someone has a drifter and would like to get in on a great time for a great cause PM me and we'll see what we can come up with.

The first year I participated I got to reel up two fish, our team won it going away, and that was that.

The other years that I participated I don't think I took a total of ten casts...and that's not "per year", that's total over three or four more SRCs

One of my few casts the last time I was in the SRC I hooked and retrieved a Lamiglas casting rod with a Pfleuger reel on it...which was convenient because in the very next hole I didn't like the way Ryley's Snoopy rod was casting so I threw it overboard and it sank.

I've been shot, burned, soaked, and potato bombed...and that's just from those of us in the same boat!

I do still have the biggest and baddest propane powered potato cannon this side of Neptune...haven't busted it out in a while.

Not sure where all my Snoopy rods even are...I know I loaned one to TBird...with about sixteen feet of line on it. I think he actually hooked a fish on it, too, and it didn't last long.

Whoever bought Bob's last Wild Hair...if you're wondering where that dent in the bow came from, well, it's the exact same shape as the bow of Ryley's old Clackacraft...that was one hard hit, can't really blame me since I was taking about a gallon of cold water every ten seconds right on top of my head!

Great times with you jokers. Tons of fun. Had to jet home after the derby and missed the Awards Ceremony but I can only imagine that the shenanigans continued. Looking forward to next year!
