I have a morning to slip away ( tomorrow ). and I havnt been to the Kalama in a while. How has fishing been. Canyon? Fly water Bait? Feel free to incrypt information via email :-)
I will be sure to bring a bag for trash!

steelhead addict fishing has been real good especially early morning bite.i mean crack of light shrimp and jigs have been working well.i like to use just shrimp.but nailed one the other day with a pink worm .hope thats enough.and i apreciate the trash bag your bringing may the river gods look kindly upon you. FISH ON!!!!!!!!!!!

is everyone running light test 8#-6#
I normally start at teh canyon but would really, really like to get a fish tomorrow!!! Should I go very early and stake out a place at beginners?

Last Saturday morning i met a guy who caught 2 just below the red barn in the fast water, 7&15 pounders.
Used a red rubber egg (dark) and pink yarn and very little weight. the bite was over by 9:00AM.
