There's been some great sporting moments in our lifetimes. These two really hit home, so to speak.

Care to share your great sporting moments as well?

Probably the best set of saves by any goalie in the world!

We all love a good celebration in the end zone, but did this go too far?

Watching my daughter's high school softball team win the state championship. Final day scores were 6-0 in the semifinal, and 14-0 in the final game against an undefeated, # 1 ranked team. We must have had more than a thousand hours of playing catch, pitching batting practice, coaching youth teams, hauling her and her team mates to practices and games leading up to that championship victory. Worth every minute.

Several game winning shots in crucial games during basketball tournaments in high school... Including a game winning 3 pointer at the buzzer to cap off a 12-1 run for a comeback win.

The Mariners beating the yanks is always a good one.

I have many but one really stands out. not that I expected anything but a gold medal. I had both my 2 sons on my lap when Michael phelps won the gold medal by the width of a pencil erasure to keep on pace for all the gold medals he was swimming in. that final lunge won the race. just awesome.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

At 5 11' and always a bit heavy looking even when in great shape, my personal best may have been when I over head this ---"Watch out for white boy, he got hops..." I also timed my jump perfectly one time and pinned some 6' 6" foot dude against the board when he tried to dunk on me.

For someone else it was probably being there for Randy Johnson's first no hitter.

Great story. I had a similar friend an inch shorter, he went bald on top at 18 , had a pus gut and wore superman glasses. He looked like someone's dad. He could jump out of the gym and hit a shot from anywhere. When we would go out to green lake and play the brothers . they would all laugh until the first lob and two handed reverse dunk or he would drive and dunk. Best pure athlete I have ever met and the laziest individual at the same time. He could have played at any college with half a work ethic.
