I went through the same thing a few years ago. Most of the quotes I received from shops were ridiculously expensive. Like over a 1000 bucks and that was if I did all the prep work and all they had to do was spray it. I ended up doing it myself and it came out pretty good. I did a bunch of research prior to on this website and others, then went at it.
Zolotone is best sprayed form a pressure pot but it isn't required at all. I used a gravity feed HVLP spray gun with 2 separate tips. One was a 1.4 that was used for primer and clear coat and the other was a 2.0 that I used for the zolotone. Make sure you remove the screen when spraying the zolotone. The spray gun cost about 75 bucks on amazon and came with both tips. It worked great. Be prepared to drop some coin even if you do it yourself. 2 quarts of epoxy primer, 1 gallon of zolotone and 2 quarts of clear coat set me back somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 bucks. The primer and zolotone are simple to spray on but the clear is a little tricky. Mine came out ok but there was some "orange peel" here and there. If you have the resources i'd look into getting someone to help you with that part. And YES, I would definitely clear coat it. Makes clean up a cinch and will prolong your paint job. I chose to replace the rotten wood floors at the same time.
As with any paint job its all in the prep. Have fun
