Per history, this is par for the course in Turkey (about every 20 years give or take). The Turkish military has a constitutional mandate to remain secular and stage Coups whenever the sitting government starts to go hardline. Ergo has been attempting to slowly install an Islamic state via the Muslim Brotherhood. This Coup is a GREAT thing if the goal is to slow the spread of Islam, especially migrants into Europe. Turkey is based and a very good, modern country. Putin is smiling today and probably behind all of it. Greece is breathing a sigh of relief. Obama is sad because his Muslim Brotherhood is getting das' boot. Again. I would not doubt one bit that Nice was the last straw for the Turkish Secularists.
What has this world come to when Russia & Putin are more based than our own President? I feel like I am taking crazy pills!

I'm sooooo rooting for this Coup to go down and actually stick. I'll gladly help the Turkish Secularists all day long to remove the Kebab from their arses. The 2 million+ Syrian refugees currently stuck in Turkey can go home and fight for their own country. What in the world are they going to do with the refugees? Greece ain't gonna take em'. Direct flights into Germany? Sky Fairy help us all...but Rich G, while nuttier than a squirrel turd, may be right one of these days. Maybe sooner, rather than later. Oh well, I have fish & crab to catch this weekend - so I can't be bothered with these evil shenanagans.

they have 1500 US troops basically being held hostage at Incirlik AFB, they wont release them unless Obama extradites the cleric in Pennsylvania that is in exile in the US to them...
the coup also failed, and people are going to die now...
