I am wondering or looking for a Black Thorbuilt boat that I owned for a brief period of time in 1997 before I sold it to Jack Patera, old seahawks coach. Then he had it for a long time and sold it to a guy who lives in Lynnwood and contacted me after he bought it for whatever reason so I was wondering if it was still out there or not. I know Mike Z told me he saw it a few years ago in forks and that was the last I heard of it but its the boat that Hyde pulled there measurments off of at the last sportsmans show in the kingdome so I was just wondering if it was still around. Is that company, Thorbuilt, still in business???? I know the boats were well constructed, just haven't seen any new ones, in a long time.

Yes there still in Business, Mike just built a brand new shop at his home....
His wife battled cancer for three years and ended up losing in march so He is back to guiding and building boats. I ordered one from him but wont be ready until late in the year, I had to get in line. I was just looking for a old boat because I had heard it had been sitting for years and was going to make the guy a offer on it and use it in the short term.........
They build amazing beautiful boats that are bullet proof !
