Did they close up shop or what? Website doesnt work now. Ive been also waiting since Nov. for a rod blank and still havent even got an email back from them. Bummer because they are the only ones making the particular blank i want. Unless someone knows where to find an 11'6" 4# noodle. Cabelas stopped selling theirs so i think im out of options for a new rod.

Looks like the site is just down. Should it really take this long to spin up a blank though?

I'm sure you could track down one of the cabelas or Loomis 4lb noodle rods. I've fished both of them for years and they're great. But I sold my loomis' versions and opted for the cabelas fish eagle. Imo it's a by far better feeling rod. With much better guides. I would love to replace it with a nfc blank though those have got to amazing feeling blanks

I love my older green fish eagle. Have the newer grey blank as well. I want to make a spiral wrap casting rod, so trying to save cutting one apart. If anyone has/knows about one of the old gloomis spiral wraps for sale im defiantly interested.

"I want to make a spiral wrap casting rod"
I fished this exact rod for a bazillion years,
11'-6", 4lb, spiral wrapped, Loomis Composite that the guy who ran the upper Kalama hatchery wrapped for me in +- 84'. I ran a Shimano 201 SG on direct drive. Unfortunately I was running up river one day and my weight fell outta the boat. Line fed off the real until it back lashed, I heard a noise, and I turned around just in time to see it fly out the back of the boat. Name and number on the rod but I guess it was never found.
I would love to have one but a spinning model if anyone has one to sell.
Side note- I was wearing rubber that day.

Does the spiral wrap have smaller diameter handle for little hands?

Unless someone knows where to find an 11'6" 4# "
Never looking for a specific brand. Although i really want one of those nfcs. But an old school spiral wrap loomis will have me tickled more pink than my little elf cheecks.
