Hey Dan, have you seen Isiah Thomas taking the NBA by storm. Imo, the best little guard since Allen Iverson. I think he's top five in scoring and doesn't turn over the ball. He's also averaging the most points in the 4th Qtr than any other player. My mistake. You're right the local talent sucks.

Glad that Tony Romar guy was fired. He was never going to win the Superb Owl with Dallas.

The Coach for Rainer H.S is a close friend. We worked together for years and played in the same team/league for years. I would love to see him Coach at Wa. He's coached a lot of NBA players over the years. Jamal Crawford and I would play down at the WA Athletic club in downtown. Jamal's Dad use to work for me. When he was drafted by the Bulls at the 8th pick first round, his Dad gave me an official press release letter head from the Chicago Bulls. Mike is a great family man and knows his x/o's. We played on the same team and won our league championship game that night. Mike had 47 points, 19 assists from me. We had the alley oop down to a science, he had springs at about 6'4".....good old days. I had my knee scoped a week later, I played that game with half my cartilage gone from a game a week before. http://www.seattletimes.com/sports/high-school/bethea-builds-champions-and-bonds-at-rainier-beach/

I really like Romar. I really didn't like the direction the program was heading. This is a great move. Romar developed A LOT of next level talent, however, that is not the objective of the program. The objective when youre the dean of pac12 coaches is to win fukin games and get in the tourney every year. NBA talent and the one and dones are a byproduct of a winning team. Who gives a schit about one and done Porter...buh bye....
Seattle is an elite recruiting base. The program will be set back a few years, but schit o' dear we are already there.

Doesn't sound like you're familiar with Indiana, Florida,CA,FL,NY,MA,KS,MI,NC,TX.......

Very cool, Duc. When I read your post, for some reason I pictured you as Will Ferrell in 'Semi Pro' Jackie Moon....

The best player ever to lace them up in this state was Elgin Baylor at my Mom's alma mater, Seattle University. My Mom was going to school during that time. I wish I could have seen him play.

That's cool. He reminds me of Nate Mcmillan.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Don't get me wrong, I like Romar. But he hasn't been getting it done, and it was time to shake things up.
What can I say, I like winning more than I like a coach. If Donald Trump took us to the Final 4, I'd wash his balls.
