Was a bit taken back to see the Edmonds Derby winning fish in the 10 pound range. Normally there's at least 1 fish in the teens...if not upper teens.

I havent fished this derby in 7 or 8 years, but looking forward to putting in two days this coming weekend.

Edmonds derby fish were cleaned before being weighed.

I've seen several photos of mid teen Coho already this season and I expect a ~16 pounder to win the Everett Derby.

Any early derby reports? I took a drive along the lower Snohomish Saturday around noon and it was packed with boats. Talked to a couple of guys coming in and they said it was really slow there.

13.27 lbs. won it.

Results

I think I placed 75th or something like that with a 9.27 lb. fish. Scored a nice net and a grab bag of goodies. Today was terribly slow in the salt. A good time was had by all.

Nope. Guess not.
