The rumor mill is going with the story that Nikki Haley resigned because she isn't a humongous piece of sh!t that would grren light the murder of a reporter by the Saudis, and she knew it was coming.
Trump, on the other hand, has no problem with being a humongous piece of sh!t.

Representative Joaquin Castro (D., Texas) claimed without evidence Friday that White House adviser Jared Kushner may have prompted the Saudi government to assassinate journalist Jamal Khashoggi by including his name on an “enemies list” provided to Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.
Castro (catchy name) cited “reporting that Jared Kushner may have, with U.S. intelligence, delivered a hit list, an enemies list, to the crown prince, to MBS, in Saudi Arabia and that the prince may have acted on that, and one of the people he took action against is Mr. Khashoggi.”
When you have ill prepared amateurs running the show, and they are only concerned with their self interests, things can quickly go awry. At the moment, this administration has a load of crap in their pants. It stinks, it's a mess, the rest of the world is aware of it, and neither Trump nor the Saudis know how they are going to clean it up. Trump's stalling and lies aren't getting the job done.
