Just downloaded divx codec, still getting this error...

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

I got the same error message. Downloading to desktop now.

Not the OS ... it's a basic WMV file that any windows media player should be able to grab and play. You can try the codec pack link that I posted and that should cover most basic compression formats. Looking at things, if I try going to quicktime or the like, the file will be huge ... 'bout 5 times bigger.

I'll try redoing it ... neither of our machines have any issues. I have to wait until it grinds out the HD ... that's about three hours out. I can re-export using different software and see if that helps ...

Make sure you re-start the player too
