Just wanted to let everyone on this board know of the recent experience I had with Lamiglas. About 2 years ago I picked up a factory second for $49.00 down at the factory. After using the rod I didn't like it (too soft for me). Two weeks ago I was letting my grandson play with it in the backyard. 10 min. later he comes in the house crying because he broke the rod. I called Lamiglas after reading here about the trade in trade up program. I figured I was screwed being that it was a factory second, and that my grandson broke it playing outside with it. I spoke with Kara (sp?) told her the whole story. She asked what rod I wanted to exchange it for and after some thought I chose the EXC10MC. I asked what it would cost thinking no way I would get full credit on my trade in. She said send a check for $140.36 and Lamiglas would take care of the shipping. I sent them the 4 pieces of the broken rod on Monday. I received my new rod today. That is as good as it gets as far as costumer service goes Thank you Lamiglas! and thank you Kara.

The best, by far. Loomis is a mess these days. Excited to break in my new xmg once the Kings begin filtering in...

Stripped a reel seat on a Lami on it's first outing the other day.

You couldn't run fast enough to catch me,in order to hand me a free one.

I couldn't keep my rods far enough way from someone who cranks down enough on their reel seats to strip the threads. Lami rocks.

not to mention that lami, loomis, st croix, and about 90% of all other companies use the same reel seats wink

'DUCK,

I find that curious testimony to the relative grade of fish you bump heads with,as well as an inkling to your physical "abilities"...undoubtedly a picture of you in action would meld those things nicely.

Some people impress easily and I've zero doubt you are one of them.

Like any manufacturer Lamiglas occassionally has problems. Bear in mind that these rod are made largely by hand in a many step process. Mistakes can happen.

But, when Lamiglas does have a problem they cover it no questions asked. Also let's remmeber this is a Northwest, family owned company.

being that this is a Northwest family owned company is the reason I bought my first rod from them. I just found 2 thinks to be shocking. getting full pop due to the circumstances, and having the new one at my door 2 days after it was received at the factory.

I've fished Lami for 30 years +.

Suprisingly enough,I have more than one,as well as another or two by differing Manufacturers.

They've slipped horribly.
