I told my neighbor that I would help him find an affordable trip for him and his Brother(Neither one fishes). They have a budget of $2,500 each without flight.
They want to go for salmon and Hali, (3) day or more trip.
I know of eagle Charter and lodge, Elfin Cove, Out ofJuneau.
Whalers Cove Lodge, Alaska
Oak Bay, Canada, From TV shows But not sure of prices.
Anybody have a prefered LODGE AND FISHING for the June time frame.????
I have fished Yakatat, Juneau, West Coast Vancouver Island and Rivers Inlet, but never needed guides.

If you're looking to go to the Kenai Peninsula, this website has all you need. Bob's packages are great!

However, if you're looking at SE AK, try Calder Mountain Lodge:
http://www.landsendlodge.com/. It's a self guided place at the northern tip of POW Island.

If you want to head to SE look up Robbo's deal....simply awesome! PM for details if needed.

You will not find a better price than Yakutat and the Glacier Bear Lodge
www.glacierbearlodge.com

We take pride in keeping our prices affordable for all.
Call Sharesse, you will be very happy with the packages and the diverse fishing opportunities there.

For King Salmon and Halibut, in June, go to Sitka. Vonnies or Southeast Alaska outdoor adventures. Fly direct from Seattle.

Don't go to Stika, that region is now under a 30" one Halibut rule.
It is causing quite a stir up there.
Our region around Yakutat has no limitations this year, 2 Halibut and we fish in under 100 feet of water!

I've only fished Silvers out of Yakutat, but Mr. Vedder raves about the halibut fishing there. I don't know about Chinook fishing that time of year and the bag limit may be quite restrictive. If I recall correctly SE, which includes Yakutat on the north end is a one Chinook per day and five per year.

Check with GBL on this.

Remember to add in fish packaging costs, skipper and crew gratuities, shipping fish home, etc. which will up the ante. Those late May-to mid-June rates offer a great value, especially if you can catch Kings as well as halibut, lings and rockfish.

Flying from Seattle to Yakutat is another advantage.

If you could add a third fishing day to the three night package, that would be ideal.

Not many of us can hold up to five days reefing halibut, lingcod, and rockfish even from shallow water like 100 feet.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to research the weather patterns on the Gulf of Alaska that time of year.

Bob of Piscatorial Pursuit is highly rated so check out options there.

If it were late August, early September and Silvers were your goal, there are so many options, it is hard to choose.

I like Ravencroft Lodge at Fildalgo Inlet that can be reached from Valdez or Cordova, but there are transportation costs to consider on top of the lodge stay.

It is self guided, great people, good family style food, and excellent fishing. I like it so much that I went there three years in a row.
