Got a shot of these fellows on Thursday

We managed to get one as well (13#) Nicely hooked too!

and another today -

If you were to look at the tide chart and the time hack on the photos, you might notice these are all on the low slack.

I didn't see a net today. I heard very few radio fish. Maybe I was in the wrong place, but with as many boats as were out there today ...

We hit one around 15lbs off of Jeffs head around 0930, that was the only fish I saw all morning.

We fished on a charter off Point No Point and it took 3.5 hours to get back in rough seas. The Navy lighthouse didn't move. (One engine was out and you could here the prop suck air every few waves) I took care of sick people most the whole time. I held a 5 gallon bucket and would rinse it out in waves and spray coming down the cabin. The head was up front and one guy said "I gotta go" and I told him he would get washed overboard. I held onto his arm as he started around the corner and a big wave hit him full in the front as he spun back into the cabin, his arm still in my grip he said, "I don't have to go anymore". (:)
We asked for a refund at the window and the lady said " You should have been here the other day, both engines went out and they drifted 18 miles and the Coast Guard had to tow them in. ("Say What?")

Nice fish....thanks for the PnP report. Now that I'm a bankie since I sold my Arima, anyone on the beach have luck that you could see?
willcfish - was that less than epic charter lately?

What was the name of that boat?
Rough Seas? I completely missed that. The Sea Kitten and crew are getting tougher. 25 knots is uncomfortable, but I can still get along pretty well. Arima Rocks!
I saw someone get one on the beach, but I am not sure what day it was . I have been up there a bunch.

Chuck E, I hit PNP from the beach on sunday, high morning slack to almost the low. Two fly guys right off the point, buzz bombers all around elsewhere. Nothing but bullheads and shakers all day that I saw, only saw one net fly on the boat side. Lots of bait moving through.

Area 9 is still putting out fish. Two kings and a silver today for a couple of hours of fishing.
