It was a desert around Edmonds today. Decent bite out front yesterday for the few boats that braved the weather. I wound up with the Gutz style trifecta yesterday, with a ma10 blackmouth, a ma9 coho and a limit of crab (photo). But the rain apparently pushed them out today. Plenty of effort out there and never saw a net.

Forgot, the one good thing today was the whale show at the south end of possession. Constant breaches and tail slaps for probably an hour, quite a sight for the sound. Made me think possession probably wasn't the best bet today!

There have been times when I was deploying gear, in the early morning hours, in the dark, that I have tossed my terminal tackle into Davey Jones locker.
