If you have any orange or red or tiger stripers in there I wouldn't wait until next fall to get them wet...there are lots of coho out there right now that would love to scrape a little paint off of them Fish on... Todd

I was fortunate to receive a friend's father's fishing gear and along with it was 6 tackle boxes. ...1- 2 sided box containing old unopened mags and another 2 sided box with old unopened square bill hot shots..alot of double eagles and pirates. Just have to change out all the treble hooks someday. I feel very lucky indeed and will clip on a double eagle this winter in honor of her father.

I bought a bunch of brads wigglers this season but haven't had luck with them. When fishing them from the bank, what type of water do they fish most effectively? Frog water, seam, main current, Wallace, upper Sky, lower Sky/Snohomish, lower Snohomish? I have a bunch, just don't know what conditions are best to use them. Please help, I haven't touch a fish all season.

Pretty tough to fish plugs "from the bank"......can you?????? Yes but just not what plugs are built to do.
I. frog water.....silver/Coho like to get out of the main flow.
2. seam....yep, work good.
3. Main current....more of a boat show, good for "moving fish"
Mag Warts....can cast a long ways. Fast retrieve, digs deep......slow retrieve, still lot's of action.
Wiggle Warts.....just don't dive as deep but many silvers fall victim to them.
Smaller sizes.....all have their place......just don't dive as deep.
My are rigged with 4 - 6 bead chains off the belly(see picture above) ......others do it different.
Plugs used to be 50% of what I used........now down to almost nil......twitching jigs, spoons, eggs, spinners are my go to items.
Good luck !!!!!!!!!!!!

Love em.
I like to rip the big magnums down on the GH streams. Float down the side of the river that looks best & cast into the wood, slack water etc.
Stout rod like a GL3 1021c or a Lami X89 MCT & some 17 mono, I take off the trebles & just run a single 2/0 or 3/0 Gami siwash off the back and add a barrel swivel to the mix.
Just crushed em on the deep purple.

Pre-Rapala Mag Warts are absolutely killer back-trolling for steelhead on Idaho's Clearwater. Big water, big fish and the Mag Warts are very productive, much more so than Brad's or Rapala's "Mag Warts."

I'll get there eventually. I'm still chucking eggs. I'll dedicate next year to getting the plugging dialed in. I hope they work on pinks.
