Sad story......but many "DO NOT" wear the pdf.....including me......ohhh, I have one, right in the boat, just a pain in the ass to put on over rain gear.

Cell phone should have been in the boat, water proof cover.....it is doable!!!!!

This is sad--I use to work with Paul--RIP good guy-loved to hunt and fish. Condolences to the family.

sounds like some much wiser decisions could have prevented-I heard that the water craft was a 12 ft alum--sounded like a lake/fish boat.

Crappy deal.

For those of you who are used to seeing the Chehalis down around Montesano and can't see how a guy could dump a boat in there, these guys were up by Rainbow Falls State Park outside of Pe Ell, and there is some very gnarly water up there...well, gnarly compared to the rest of the Chehalis, at least.

i know of several sleds they have been dump between porter and Monte because people don't pay attention and do some stupid. the chehalis may look easy but it will get you.
