I did the annual opening day with my brother, sister in law and 6 kids. It was the first such fishing trip for the boat. We have been fishing this lake since I was their age, so we have about 6 family boats out there.

We all spend the night at my parents and fall asleep around 11:30 pm for a 4 am wake up call.




Donuts in the morning for that sugar rush to keep them awake.







Then off to the lake and a couple hours later, we had our 9 person limit






We come home to my dad cooking a hot breakfast and then this happens

Sweet! I got out early on Saturday with my youngest, my dad and nephew before her fastpitch game. Then Sunday evening was able to take my oldest daughter and her cousin.

It is always fun to just be out there with the kids, and seeing all the other parents and kids having a good time.
