Looking at a pre owned aluminum hyde...

It has front and rear level floors with casting braces.

UHMW bottom...

Curious how these row compared to a willie....

I like mine. It rows different than a willie not as quick to turn. it tracks very good floats high and very comfortable to fish out of.

Very well built boat, the handle way better than a willie, Hyde is the high end of driftboats, there used all over the US.... there spendy new, but so is everything else..

They row much easier than a Willie, as long as it is set up balanced. Hyde's design has a non-rockered bottom (flat) for about four feet in the mid section. When this section is parallel to the river current the boat doesn't drag at all and seems to lift making the boat row like it is much lighter. If this mid section is riding either bow down or stern down the boat drags and will row much heavier.
I currently own a Hyde 16 Pro Guide hybrid, and love it.
