My 24-yr-old son will be taking 6 months off from his lab job to go work in the field for WDFW in Neah Bay April - Oct. Does anyone know of rooms for rent in the Clallam Bay to Neah Bay area? Any other lodging suggestions in the area?

If an acceptable (that is clean, safe, drug free) place doesn't turn up consider finding a used trailer (rent/buy) and haul it up after obtaining a six month lease at one of the RV locations around Clallam Bay. They might be begging for six months of steady income from a State employed drug free individual. Heck, they might even have something to rent.

Give Nancy Butler a call at (360) 640-0948. They run a small hotel business. I doubt if they would work for 6 months, but she is really nice and should be able to help steer you in the right direction if she doesn't have something that works.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! Wasn't planning on buying the kid a camper but that might not be a bad way to go Larry. Especially something I could unload for the same $ once he's done with it. Not a lot of choices up there.

If you go that route be sure there is extra bunking room in case "someone" were to go up there to fish. Ulterior motives abound!!
