If it was a lost (versus derelict) recreational pot I would have expected it to have been recovered by WDFW by now given the end of December winter closure. Not sure if the NT crab fishery is still going on and since they did not report in the story which run the Wenatchee was working when entangled one has a lot of room for speculation. Just an FYI but of the derelict pots recovered by NW Straits' divers in 2018 close to 2/3 were commercial pots. _________________________ Remember to immediately record your catch or you may become the catch!
