I am looking for help. My wife has MS and any pounding of our boat (21’ Striper) sends shocks thru her body. I am replacing her seat/pedestal with one that will help limit this problem.

Anyone have any recommendations???

The guys at Wooldridge put a suspension seat in their boats. Not cheap, but it does work well for my friend.

That seat bushbear mentions is the same seats I've got in my boat in Ak., if those don't work, I doubt any seat will work. Not cheap though!

Might give Pioneer Marine in sequim a call.. I know he was showing me a seat a few years back that is supposed to absorb all shock up to 3 G's.. A little on the spendy side too, but it might be worth comparing?? Hell for all I know it could be the same seat? =) Good luck!

Thanks guys for your help. I am going to give the folks each of you suggested a call tomorrow. If I can afford it, my bride/30 fishing partner will get her seat and we will chase salmon this year and the next.
