Will be there...looking forward to seeing first hand what they have in the works! Three Rivers does a lot for our fisheries and "gives back" more than any shop I know. Let's try to be there tonight to support their efforts and make a good showing whether your pro CCA or not!

I signed up for a general membership, my son-in-law signed up for a life-time membership and associate memberships for his two children who are ardent fisher-persons.

CCA may be our only hope for a political action group that will work for sport fisheries.

We have always been too fragmented as sportsmen.

It is time to unite and take a stand and forget about our individual gripes.

Without this effort, my grandkids may not have a sport fisheries future in the Pacific Northwest.

How about yours?

No problem Big Daddy...don't know that my wife's gonna be to happy with me volunteering to be Treasurer but it should be a great group to work with and if we can unite things will get done!

I was glad to see everyone there and that people are beginning to join and get involved. I like that there will be a concerted effort towards resource recovery as a whole and not a save my little corner attitude , that has fragmented the sportsmen and women in the past. Time to put old tired ways behind us and move into a new model of action that has done so well in other areas of the country.
Join CCA and be part of the reconstruction and recovery of OUR resouce!

Damn! I'd never heard Gary Loomis speak - that guy could run for office. I was already sold and wish I'd been able to stick around for the end of the meeting.

Did get some fliers and applications - my fishing buddys WILL join if they're gonna ride in my sled! \:\) Ditto what Dave said. We've gotta find our voice while there are fisheries left to save.

Being "right" hasn't gotten us anywhere. I belong to plenty of groups that understand most of the problems our salmon and steelhead are facing.

But knowing how to make change happen seems to be CCA's forte, and it's something we've been sorely lacking here in the PNW (as Gary pointed out).

I just got my fishing buddy at work signed up today, and will work on a couple others this weekend on the Clearwater/Snake. Lets get the #s up - the sooner we do the sooner we have the political leverage to strong-arm some change to the "status quo".

My .02,

Brian

I think all groups can agree that Commercial nets can do no good for the resource. If we can have that one bond, we can do a lot of good I hope.

It was a nice crowd and the beer tasted good as well.
