So what's the story behind the name? Been driving by it for a while going shooting with Drykes or heading to Forks and Neah or Seiku. Never have heard an explanation of how it came to be named....I got a laugh out of the boy when I pointed it out last trip.

"it was even funnier when someone painted over the "K""
That remains me of when the wife and I were looking for a house. Found a really nice place outside silverdale. House was about perfect but there was no way I was buying it. It was on "Little Wood Lane". The boys would have never stopped giving me crap.

I used to get the names of Kitchen Dick and Chicken Coop road mixed together for some reason. Which brings a question to mind......do chickens even have dicks?
mark I've only been doing the Forks thing for a couple of years...Neah a few years more than that. We all don't get to grow up in PA! I do like your town.

It is actually two family names. There was argument between the two families, Kitchens and the Dicks, over what the name of the road would be since they both lived on it and finally settled on the Kitchen Dick. Or so I have heard.
