The last time I heard anyone make a reference to "trim" was Eddie Murphy playing Axel Foley in the movie "48 hrs".

For now, I'll just pass on puttin' the trim on the ol' Johnson. Ain't no pleasure worth that much pain.

My Evinrude treats me just fine.... virtually no maintenance, no choke, and fires up first crank EVERY time.
