Catch and release all (legal) washinton game fish in one week?

But what week would it be?

Maybe too many different seasons, at diff times?

Game or food fish? I have a feeling you mean food fish, as in salmon and steelhead. Yes, I think it possible and I'd say your best bet is the first week in November, assuming you could fish more than one river to accomplish the feet and was willing to put some serious miles on your rig. Might be tough to scratch out a Sockeye though.

Ya the sokeye would be tough, I was thinkin all washington gamefish, bass, bluegill, perch, catfish, all the 'warmwater' fish and food fish
It would be a crazy week of no sleep and a crap ton of milage.

But, it would be fun to attempt and prolly be some crazy good pics and stories, anyway what's the most diverse amount of fish you all have caught in one day/weekend/trip?

I don't think I'd like to try the gamefish, sounds stressful. My goal in the next five years is to have a triple header, King, Silver, Steelhead. I've managed two of the three a couple times but never the trifecta.

My cycle goal is a columbia steelhead and salmon with some sturgeon thrown in, on the same trip. I've connected on 2 species a few times but never the 3rd on the same day. Oh and shakers don't count, all fish must be in the box.

Steelhead are a game fish, not a food fish.

I've had a trifecta +1 (whats the term for four? Fourfecta?) in fish landed in a day, never brought a fourfecta home though. It was- king, coho, steelhead, chum. November would be the month. On my birthday, the 16, I can choose just about any fish I feel like catching. Game fish, not sure. I heard bass spawn in the shallows in the spring time. I'm pretty sure any warm water fish will be pretty lethargic in november.

The Vedder River in late fall has all five species of salmon. But the humpies are very near death, and the sockeye are about impossible to fair catch.

I have always wanted to do the Alaskan Grand Slam by catching all five species of Pacific salmon in a week. The best I've done so far is catching all five species out of one river, the Skagit...and it wasn't in the same week or even year for that matter.

Best I have done is a chum, king, and a couple of Coho out of the Humptulips. Trifectas seem fairly easy. Adding a fourth species hard, but I could see a steelhead, king, silver, chum coming out of a few rivers. Adding in a fourth salmon is going to be real hard though.

I've caught five varieties casting off Fort Worden in two days....two years ago. Steelhead, Chum (no sht), Coho, King, and Pink. All on the same blue buzz bomb. Never caught a salt water sockeye, but know it is possible.

As far as fresh water varieties.....sheesh, way too many to attempt for me. I can easily catch bass, perch, blue gill, crappie, trout, and catfish in the same lake in a day and have done so many times. But walleye, carp, sturgeon, etc. are a whole different game.

King and chum in the morning fishing the salt. Silvers, sockeye, pinks and rainbows in the afternoon on a no-name stream in S.E. Alaska, my rookie year 1990, haven't been able to repeat it since though I guess I haven't really tried.

We have hit rainbows, walleye, perch, carp(snagged throwing raps), bass and a sturgeon(6.5 ft) in the same day. Even managed a freshwater ling that day(first one I ever caught). That was back before they closed Lake R for sturgeon C&R.

I know that list is a bunch of crap fish minus the sturgeon and bows but a hell of a bag for one day.

I caught all 5 species of pacific salmon on the Vedder river in BC over the course of an October weekend about 10 years ago. The Cultus lake sockeye was a definite surprise because it was still chrome bright.

The humpy wasn't though...
