I have never bead fished before, but have read the basic concept. Having a bare hook floating down the river, doesn't that really increase your odds for snags?
When I bait fish I usually add a little something ahead of the hook to make the bait a bit more buoyant to keep the bait and hook from falling into cracks, but a bare hook?
I guess the goal is to have the hook drifting down bend first, hook-point following, but won't the bead pass up the hook dragging the hook point facing the direction of the drift?

Thanks for the advice

If you keep away from wood it will almost never get hung up, ever...if you get it near wood it will almost always get hung up, forever wink

Fish on...

Don't overthink it. Just put that sucker on under the right conditions, and go fish,
