Would have had serious impacts on hunting and fishing opportunities had it gone through. http://www.thefishingwire.com/story/395198 Sale of Public Lands Plan Abandoned Following pressure from Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and numerous other sportsmen's interests and businesses, Rep. Jason Chaffetz announced last night his decision to abandon H.R. 621, legislation that would have mandated the sale of more than 3 million acres of public lands in Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon and Wyoming.

CedarR Repeat Spawner Registered: 08/04/99 Posts: 1463 Loc: Olympia, WA	Chaffetz (GOP-Utah) is up for reelection in 2018. Hopefully, the folks who opposed him on this bill will fight his bid to go back to Washington, DC.
