Big surprise here, who would have thought that oil and mining interests would buy the election? Or that the people in Alaska care about the future of the salmon population? They will kill all the fish if allowed to. And there isn't anything the rest of us can do about it. Bob R

The good folks in Alaska should come down to WA and do some sport fishing so they can see what will happen to their state's salmon fishing.

Sadly they will soon find out for themselves.

Whoever believes that men mining gravel and oil and natural gas are just absolute killers of every salmon run, well pretty much you have no idea what you're talking about.

Enlighten us with your knowledge of how mining gravel and drilling for oil and natural gas is good for salmon......go for it!!!!!!

Yeah, I wanna know how all that mining and such is good for natural resources.
