Like the subject says: do those 12v window defoggers work? Lately it’s been damp in the predawn and I’m looking for something better than a windshield wiper on the outside and toweling the inside of the window every two minutes.

Anyone here try one?

Works on a little truck we own that the heater doesn't work. Plugs into a cig. lighter receptical.

Yes , They work better if you open up the windows a bit to get some additional air flow.

They don’t do much.
Not enough power through the 12 volt outlet.

It’s an open hard top, (windshield and two sides) so we get some breeze at higher speed, but when it’s foggy and dark, I’m going about 15 so only a very slight breeze. Thinking adding the defogger might warm up those windows.

Was also thinking the “school bus fan” from 50 years ago.

Yah that’s what I’m wondering. Reviews are 50/50.
