The Wildlife Commission will meet in Port Angeles December 7/8. The agenda can be looked at by using the following link:

A lot of the work will be on hunting and lands related issues. An item of interest will be the Statewide Steelhead Plan briefing (item #14) on Friday afternoon. There will also be a briefing on Columbia salmon plans.

This is a great opportunity for folks on the NOP to get a chance to see the Commission in action and also a chance for some public input if you want. Time for that is limited, but you won't get a better chance.

If you can make it to PA on Thursday and are interested in steelhead issues, the following session might be worth sitting in on.

The meeting is open to the public; however, no public input will be accepted.
