I fish this lake a lot for Salmon and by myself. Often wondered what would happen if I got my arm snagged up in the downrigger while it was going down. I would assume when my hand was released from the break it would stop. Hopefully will find out how this happened. Have not heard of anyone drowning being caught up in downrigger cable.
