Got a friend headed to AK on Thur for a few days to fish out of a camp that sounds kind of "do it yourself" style. He won the trip through a raffle so kind of locked into whatever they offer. Sounds like boat is provided and maybe some fishing insight once he's there but trying to help him put together a traveling tackle box and gear for him to take.
He was just planning on taking some qwik's and divers/spin&glow stuff up to backtroll with. Will this get the job done for a couple of days on the river?
What size hooks to run behind the bait rigs would be best? Is it single hook regs or can a double hook rig be ran?

Any insight or recommendations would be appreciated. I've never gone up there myself, just trying to help him with the basics..
