Had a good mornign chasing cutties in the rain. ended up with about 15 fish for 4 hrs but a lot of the time I was trying to get a friend into fish.
Got 1 18 inch beauty and a couple 15-16 inchers. Great mornign to be out even if it was pouring down rain.

Ive been out the last three days in the south canal fishing the out going tide on one of the small rivers did real good with yellow and brown clousers but I need some more flys in my arsnal. Im a bit new to tossing bugs for cutties in the salt. Yellow seems to be a good color. Any help would be good.

Any beaches would be good too.

My family owns a cabin and property on Fowlweather Bluff. It's one of my favorite beaches around. I have never fly fished off the point (don't go there very often) but I have seen do it. I have caught silvers in early September off the point and other times in the summer, but not the fly rod. The beach there is mostly sand but there are some huge eel grass beds in the bay the usually hold lots of bait.
