This will be my first season doing it. I've been asking around for advice on patterns, most have said that using bonefish flies like charlies is best. I'm loaded with flies, now I need to nail down some spots, and figure out their patterns when they come in.

Any suggestions or successes specific to getting them on the fly?

Thanks in advance, and I'll have an some open seats on my sled when it gets going.

Should be funny to see the looks other anglers will give me when I'm waving the spey rod out there in the middle of the big C!

i think you'll find that when fishing from a boat you will prefer a single handed rod.

a shorter rod will make landing fish in a boat much easier.

The boat is for gettin' to and from.

I've heard there are nice spots bankin' it.

Ive done well in the Multnomah Channel. Targeting them at that point has been more productive as the fish are bottle necked there and cant, more like wont pass your fly up.
