With the south sound pretty dead (thank the nets for that), I was thinking about headin north tomorrow for silvers. Anybody doing any good in the north sound??

Chip,

I just came back from the ramp at Shilsole,
and the catch ratio is poor. However, I saw
one silver that will weigh in at least 15lb.
The area was netted last night and yesterday,
so maybe the west side would be your best bet. Jefferson Pt. or Kingston area.

Front of Edmonds this morning, bout ten takedowns, 2 limits. Seemed pretty good smaller fish though.

Chuck and Cigar - Thanks for the reports - Think I'll head for PNP - Pilot Point area, then maybe across to Edmonds.

Let us know how you did at Point no Point,
I fished Area 8.2 up by the shipwreck this
morning and we limited the boat by about 9.
WDFW checker at Edmonds had checked 7 boats
all limited but two, and they were both skunked. Looks like there is stil a lot of
silvers coming in.

Fished Sunday PM, started at Jeff Head, worked our way north to Pilot Point, fishing was really slow, one small wild silver at JH. Did see quite a few boats fishing, but no nets out. Fished over tons of herring but caught only small blackmouth. If there are fish still coming in, they do not seem to be moving down the west side.

We put in a lot of time out of Shilshole this weekend. West Point to start Saturday morning, zippo. Trolling back to Shilshole on the outgoing we picked one up near the red can. Trolled north past Meadow and started getting lots of strikes but few hookups around 2:30. Ended Saturday with two fish for 3 guys over 8 hours.

Sunday was somewhat better. Got a strike right off. Two for two people by 11AM. Went back out with another friend for the tide change and got two more. We also lost a couple at the boat.

So, total time 45 rod hours 6 fish.

I am a sick human and can not wait too get back out on the salt. It's not about catching is it?
