Yes, Rogue rods are made about a mile from my house with Vern Dollar and Bob Loomis JR. putting them together. James and I had a chance to put one of the bobber rods to the test down on the quinalt about 2 weeks back and I was impressed. James was the one using the rod and was pooring the coals on these toads. Great tip, great backbone and truthfully it felt like a LOOMIS. James had it bending at the cork several times as they told us to put it to the test. He was pulling so hard a couple of times I sort of ducked and shyed away worried that if it did break splinters would go everywhere. I plan to try some steelhead rods in the near future. I'll keep you posted.
