Was at the satsop today and saw 3 game wardens come down checking guys for barbless hooks. One guy got busted for fishing where he wasn't supposed to and had a barbed hook....he gave them some lip and ended up walking out with them...not sure where it went after that. Another guy I talked with said they (gamies) were down there yesterday too. Nice to see some enforcement down there.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Good to hear.

If they kept an eye around Satko Glen, they might find some interesting gear choices and techniques. rolleyes

Didn't see any gamies myself, but it's good to hear they're prowlin' around.

Went over the Satsop at 7:45am and again at 9:00am. Went pheasant hunting. The river looked rather full and brown, but there were a few folks in the parking lot.

Poked around the Chehalis Valley chasing ducks and talked to three guys on a sled with an outboard. They said they had two fish. The Chehalis was much clearer, but higher compared to the past few weeks.

Lots of mallards seen this weekend compared to last weekend. I don't think they're Northerns, just locals moving to "new" water from the recent rains.
