How accurate do you figure that formula is on silvers which are shorter but fatter fish?

Wow rcy, You've got a state record with those dimentions, how about a picture of the fish. According to your dimentions you'd have a fish that was around the 32 pound mark. Truly a trophy, let's see it.

Very close ... I checked it on some of the bigger silvers this year and saw some a tiny bit light, some a tad heavy ... so a pretty good average of being right on!

rcy, Nice Silver..Earlier this year I posted a hatchery Silver that was 36x24 and I weighed it on a pretty good scale at 21.8. This one you have is a monster....
Is it dead or going on the wall(where I would put it)or better yet, release?jk
