Is there a number to a sporting goods shop or something to call to find out how the Bogie is looking tomorrow night. I might float it on Friday if it is fishable. Thanks in advance.

Very nice guy and good store but I don't think any one would appreciate answering lots of calls just for fishing reports. Don't abuse it. Buy your stuff there when visiting as well.

Watch the Hoh graph! You cant always count on a call to Forks! Check this link for rain fall:
http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/KUIL.html

It got 1.8 inches last night and that will blow it bigtime! over an inch or so when there already high will usaully always blow the bogy.
Look to the smaller stuff!

Quillayute Airport Rainfall-http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/KUIL.html you can check other locations within Wa. by clicking menu on the left of that site under "current coditions - in the United States.

To estimate Bogie fishability look at the USGS riverflow site. When the Hoh is running triple it's normal volume (5,000 CFS ave per graph) for this day vs. today's actual Hoh riverflow of 15,000 CFS you can bet the farm that the Bogie is punched because the rivers are less than 10 miles from one another. Refer to the Hoh graph - http://wa.water.usgs.gov/rt-cgi/gen_stn_pg?station=12041200

I don't go fishing until I've checked out these two sites and a west coast radar image if things look dicey conditions wise.
