Saying that that sled is giving Loomis a bad name is like saying because the boat was an Alumaweld, it would is giving Alumaweld a band name.

There are hundreds of boats out there with Loomis, Mustad, Ande etc. etc. stickers and a lot of times, they in no way represent the company.

Now if the boat has a Vision sticker, that is another story...

I didn't see the incident in question but I have seen a honking 20'+ sled on the Sky every now and then that looks more like a factory rep kind of deal than your average joe who slaps a sticker on his boat. This thing was all black with a massive logo down both sides of the hull with no other markings.

B. Gray, that must have been the boat. I pulled into Lewis Street parking lot and watched three guys anchor and fish just down from the bridge in that thing and then eventually boon dog all the way down. A bad floating advertisement.
This is a massive G Loomis logo. Maybe the sled was picked up used from some guide?
Anyway, the intent of my post was to have some guy read it and look at the regs and realize he'd better pay closer attention to them in the future. I could have left out the sarcasm.

No, its not you but I think it isnt because people want to look like a guide but it seems that anyone who owns a boat is now a guide.
