Thursday after floating a forks area river i was driving home along 101 and saw a lot of people out on the beaches with lanterns. were they clamming?? If so is that an evening thing or a tidal thing?

They were digging for razor clams. I think it started at 12:00 noon but of course you need a low tide to do it which happened in the evening. Good job on the fish!!
