I have had luck with gooey bobs and smelly jelly egg clusters. Has anyone had any luck, or tried the Berkley Power bait egg clusters? Just curious. They look fishy.

Kore, they do look good, just got back from the seep lakes in E. Wa. Limits 2 day's with "magnum" power eggs, bow's 12-16" Always thought berkley should make a okie-sized floating bait for us steelheader's. Once thier little cuz'ins grab them they won't let go!

HAd no luck yet with them, but only used them a couple of times.
I like them better then other ones that I have tried, just because the texture and the impregenated scent. I like the smaller size ones better.

Kore,
The first time I used Berkley Egg Clusters I hooked up with 10# Brat. Now, the funny part of the story... 5 of us had been fishing all day in Feb. on the Cowlitz without success, so I decided to give them a try. After rigging it on my hook, I yelled to my other buddies " Look out I'm using my Tournemnt strength Egg Clusters and I'm going to kick your butts "Never in my wildest dreams did I think it was going to work, after all nothing else had worked all day for the 5 of us. First cast, first time ever using them I hooked with a steelie! Well I have used them many times since... with no more fish ! Go Figure.

In this lower water, eggs and egg imitations have been working well for me, amoung other things. Egg imitations are nice, cause the nates don't suck em too deep, like with straight eggs. Part of fishing that makes it fun for me is experimenting, and finding new tricks for different conditions. I have the next week or so off, so I'll give these a try on some holding fish, and let you know if they work. If they work too well, I might just have to keep it quiet.
