Any reports on the Snake River? I have never fished any farther east than the Green River and I am going to the Snake this weekend with my 15 year old son. Just bought a new Loomis and Abu Garcia rig less than 2 hours ago and dying to wet a line! Would appreciate any tips on tackling up and fihing spots for bank fishing.

Am going out this afternoon, to give it a try below Little Goose Dam. I will post a report tomorrow morning. The friend I am going with has been doing pretty well the past week or so. I hear the bank guys are scoring with silver and chartuese spin n glos with a gob of eggs, while boats are running magnum wiggle warts or K-14 flatfish with scent. Should be nice weather this weekend.
