Hey I will trade somebody a salmon or steelhead float trip for a day on the big water salmon fishing. Its been so good out there I would love to get in on this. please post or e-mail me if this is a possibility.

Here is a list of some of the fisheries that I plan on hitting through September.


July

Sekiu....trip on the 14th and 15th of July
(maybe another trip late in July just for silvers)
Lake Washington Sockeye....if it opens in July

August

Tulalip bubble and pinks near Mukilteo.
At least two trips to fish these areas. Up to 4 fish a day, depending on species.

September

Mukilteo for pinks, if they're still running.

Sekiu for one or two trips to catch some late run coho. Can keep any coho from Sept 1 on. Best day was 14 fish (c&r), took home no silvers under 15 pounds.

Maybe a trip to fish area 2-2 (Westport) inside the harbor or hit the boat basin fishery.

I will post and let you know when I plan on going, hopefully at least a week in advance.

Hi Superfly,

I am going to head up to Sekiu tomorrow night so that I can fish Sunday morning and afternoon. I only have one penn downrigger, but two bases. If you have another penn 600 or have a friend with one, you are welcome to head up with me. We can also fish two lines from one rigger, covering two different depths. Let me know, I plan on leaving sometime after 6pm tomorrow night.

I AM HEADING TO WESTPORT ON SUNDAY TO FISH FOR THE COHO AND MAYBE A SHOT AT SOME KINGS. I WENT OUT ON THURSDAY 5 JULY AND THE THREE OF US HAD OUR LIMITS OF 6 LB COHO IN ABOUT 2 1/2 HOURS. I FISH FROM A 21' OLYMPIC AND WILL HAVE MY 16 YEAR OLD SON WITH ME. IF INTERESTED IN GOING, CONTACT ME SOON SINCE I AM ACTIVELY LOOKING TO FILL THE THIRD SPOT ON MY BOAT.

Hey Joe,
Though it didn't work out for tomorrow. We'll be fishing out of Hammond every Sunday this month and next week we're going to fish Monday (16th) also. When weather permits we'll head out for salmon, if it's bad we'll just sturgeon fish. If you want to, email me and we can work something out. We'll probablly do this until the quota runs out.
