I don't know about the canal, but humpy hollow is hot, hot, hot!!! Limits early, decent sized fish, and ocean bright.

There are lot's of dungeness crab up there too. It's been a while since I crabbed up there but I seem to remember the shipwreck being a bood spot, and especially good in front of the oil docks in Mukilteo.

I believe the canal is only open south of Ayock Point and in Dabob Bay for for coho only.

Dabob Bay is open for coho only right now, 4 fish limit. South of Ayock point is open for coho, chinook, and humpies and also has a 4 fish limit but only two of your four can be chinook. The exception to that rule is if you are in the hatchery zone, you can have four chinook but only two can be larger than 24". The exception to all of the above are if you are a veteran, a post office employee, or a lesbian that looks like a man. That's where the game laws get confusing. Just kidding.

These regs. are so easy to understand. confused

I do real well crabbing off the N end of Gedney and the S end of Camano. SE Whidbey and Mukilteo are fair.

Be careful this weekend, there are going to be some wicked currents during the daytime. Might want to double-up on buoys. eek eek

I'll be at Humpy Hollow Saturday morning -- "Wanna Bee" on VHF.

Regards.
