Marty M. reported the largest sport caught chinook salmon ever was landed recently in NW B.C.'s Skeena River - 99.1 lbs! It could have been a Kalum R. bound fish. Many Kings over 100 lbs. go up that tributary, but sport anglers haven't been able to land one in the fast gradient water there - yet. It also could have been a Skeena mainstem fish or other trib fish. ...

Thanks Marty.

It's really to bad the picture doesn't give it more justice. It's hard to tell how big the fish really looks. But I could imagine the excitement at that moment.
Those dimentions are amazing, 53.5" x 38.5". I've never heard of anything like that before. I've also never used the formula length x girth squared divided by 800, I've always divided it by 775. Which comes out to 102.32 pounds. eek I wish I was there to see it all.
