Lately, I've been putting quite a bit of time in on the Puyallup. I don't have the patience to plunk, so I've been drifting with corky and yarn. I just moved up here so I know nothing about this river and when it peaks. I found what looks to be a sweet hole, but I can't get any fish to take. They're rolling all over, so I know that their in there. Is there a different technique to use when fishing the Puyallup? Also, does the Green (near Auburn) get a decent run of silvers? I recently moved up here from Aberdeen and I need to find some good water QUICK. Thanks

I've always done well on the Puyallup/Carbon with #3 & #4 spinners for Coho. Try a spinner with some red or orange on it. Usually gets better in October for Coho.

The green does get a decent run of silvers. It opens around the auburn golf course of the 1st and around highway 18 bridge on the 16th.
