STRIKE ZONE GOOD LUCK Registered: 08/09/00 Posts: 12107 Loc: Hobart,Wa U.S.A	I fished John's river saturday.There was three people in my sled we caught one 12.5 lb coho and three crab.Saw around 15 fish caught mostly coho.Fished it sunday also with two people,we hit two coho that went 10lb,no crab and saw around 15 fish caught.Needless to say it was slooowww if ya ask me.Where are these fish ?????????.Good luck, STRIKE ZONE

Predator Dawg Spawner Registered: 10/03/00 Posts: 560 Loc: land of sun	Srike Zone, I was there Saturday as well. 3 of us in my boat. 3 Silvers, all small for that area (8-9 lbs.). Saw a few kings and a few silvers caught. Sure seems like 'something' is choking off the fish. Almost as if there is a late night fishery going on that involves nets. 3 other boats I know of that were there that same day, 1 fish each. Something isn't right!

FishNg1 Three Time Spawner Registered: 03/08/99 Posts: 1609 Loc: Gig Harbor, WA , USA	I too heard of some good reports from Friday and then when I went on Sunday, all we had were two hook-ups with one Silver landed. Did not see too many fish caught either, and the other boat in our party only landed one silver also. We were all set to head out in the ocean Sunday morning, but the CG would not even let the Charters out because of the forecasted 14 foot breakers on the bar. It was like we were jailed in. I was eager to get out there, because on Saturday we had friends that fished outside and had two kings in the 30s and lots of coho action. But, can't complain, it was a great year at Westport for 2001! _________________________ C/R > A good thing > fish all day,into the night!
